In recent years, our country has taken a series of policies to promote the development of rural areas, especially the infrastructure construction of country road has improved significantly, this is the reason for the reduction of traffic accidents in the rural areas where have so many mountains. Once passenger transportation accidents happened in mountainous countryside, it would cause a great harm to the society, a largest number of casualties and serious economic losses. In early years the country roads were built along the mountain valleys, steep slope sharp, alongside ditch over the waters, the driving conditions were so dangerous. Now the economic condition has been restricted, although the infrastructure has improved, the road sections which have potential security danger don’t get radical cure thoroughly. The present level of some mountainous country roads is still low. The roads are lack of safety protection facilities and have too many branches on both sides of the road and this will cause traffic accidents easier.With the improvement of safety consciousness when people are driving, when we can’t change the driving condition we usually turn to a security technology to improve driving safety. Along with the development of auto industry and new technology, automotive safety technology gradually shifted from passive to active. As a new active safety technology, the warning system has inherited the merits of the previous active safety technology and constantly enriched its intelligence, this improves the security to a greater degree.This paper works on the active safety technology about integration of man, car and road. Build a model on mountainous rural passenger traffic safety and put forward the safety evaluation methods, creating a evaluation method which is based on the development of mountainous country road car driving safety warning system. The warning system is designed by using the ARM chip as the core of hardware. Use the sensor to collect the real-time weather conditions, road conditions and car parameters. Obtained vehicle position information by GPS, the vehicle information is transmitted to the data center server via GPRS wireless communication module and then the module goes on data processing, giving the road corresponding position of the vehicle to the main controller board. Main controller collected all parameters and worked on a comprehensive treatment, according to the safety evaluation model, judged the security situation of the bus traveling, the results is judged to be divided according to the security level of risk in different situations and then give different alarm information, and provide warning in advance about the dangers of speeding, overload, low security level status, and give enough time for drivers to take measures to reduce the danger. At last achieving the purpose of raise the driving safety in order to reduce mountainous countryside accidents and these have great significance.
