Study On Early-warning Of Low-grade Highway Traffic Safety

ABSTRACT:With the development of highway construction enterprise in our country, people’s production and living become more convenient and national economy gets continued growth, but at the same time, the frequent occurrence of highway traffic accidents brings serious life and property loss and bad social influence, because of this it needs a long-time and formidable process to study on highway traffic safety. Under the background of severe situation, this paper presents the study of low-grade highway traffic safety early-warning system.Domestic and foreign research on low-grade highway safety early-warning are relatively few because the low importance in highway system.Based on the learning from the achievements and progress in traffic safety early-warning fields and the support of Ministry of Transport’s project-"China Road Assessment Programme", through the field surveys of low-grade highway in Shan’xi Province, combining with the exposed problems, this paper has analyzed the safety influence factor and studied the early-warning methods of low-grade highway, elaborated the theoretical framework, structure, function and operation flow of the early-warning system, set up level and standard of alarm degree and alarm line, presented precontroling countermeasures under different early warning signal, and conducted application example with a survey highway.This paper related to the selection of early-warning method, the establishment of the indictor system, comprehensive weight based on analytic hierarchy process and entropy method and data processing of early-warning evaluation based on set-valued statistics. This paper is aimed at providing help to the study of low-grade highway traffic safety issues and the improvement of the low-grade highway safety. Finally this paper has summarized the limitation and insufficient in the study and expectation of further research.
