| With the development of the logistics system all over the world, the sea-rail intermodal transport became somewhat perfect. The intermodal transport process consists of several parts, including transportation of goods by the railway to container ports, marine transport, and delivery of goods port-to-door, and vas versa. It’s a more efficient and cost-effective transport mode of freight which is suitable for both the world trade development and the safe and timeliness transport demand. The sea-rail intermodal transport is the tendency for the international freight transportation.At present, the proportion of the sea-rail intermodal transport is relatively low in port transferring system in China. There exist obvious structural imbalances in those main container ports. It not only affects the capacity of container ports, the turnover time of goods, but also leads to some negative influences, such as the traffic jam and air pollution in port-city. It also causes the significant external costs of container transportation. Developing the sea-rail intermodal transport and improving its reliability is an effective way to solve these problems.The reliability of sea-rail intermodal transport has the most important influence in the stability and efficiency to this intermodal transport system. Basing on the connection reliability demand of the sea-railway intermodal transportation, the paper studied the connection reliability of sea-rail intermodal transport between container port and its connecting railway container station. The paper consists of seven chapters. The first, this paper analyzed the process of the sea-rail intermodal transport to make sure those influencing factors of the sea-rail intermodal transport on the reliability of its time connection, volume connection and process connection. The second, the paper set up a connection reliability of sea-rail intermodal transportation index calculation model and calculated those influencing factors of reliability applied the convolution theory. Then, the paper set up the optimal model of railway container train scheme according to the arrival rule of port container flow. Genetic algorithm was adopted to get the optimal solutions. Finally, the paper made Dalian-Kaiyuan Sea-rail Intermodal Transport Corridor as its objective in the case study. The results show that the optimal model based on connection reliability was valid and could be used to make certain the schemes in sea-rail intermodal transport. |
