Currently, the problem of water shortage is becoming more and more serious, restrict the development of our social and economic. Especially water heavy users such as College, the phenomenon of waste water resources is serious. The problem of water conservation should be given enough concerned. With communication technology and computer technology rapid growth, design a set of equipment based on water conservation is necessary. This thesis study the problem of remote check water meter management system in university. This system can save water cost and water resources. This system have important significance and wide promotion prospects.This system is designed in the request of logistics management center in our college. This article described the whole system in detail, including hardware and software implementation. This article introduced the hardware of water signal acquisition, data concentration, storage and transmission in detail. Communication use RS-485 bus and campus local area network and specify communication protocol. This article detailed explain the software of data analysis, processing, alarm and describes the use of PC management software functionality.The overall structure of this paper is divided into six parts:The first part of this paper express the significance of the research, development situation, design requirements and feasibility. The second part describes the design of system overall structure. The third part discusses the hardware components, including signal acquisition, circuit implementation, hardware interference. The fourth part introduce the communication and communication protocol. The fifth part describes the design of system software, including the software design of collector and PC management system. The sixth part describes the characteristics of this system, including how to save water and related media coverage.After more than one year operation, this system is stable and reliable, water-saving effect is remarkable. This system content to the design requirements of management center and has tremendous promotion prospects.
