Today, energy conservation and emissions reduction has become the trend of the times, all industries have accelerated the application research of new energy-saving technologies. Port enterprises, as energy-hungry, have been committed to the latest energy-saving technology in port construction and production. At the same time of energy conservation and emissions reduction, it also reduces business costs, improves economic efficiency. Adopting low-carbon energy-saving technologies is one of the most effective means to port enterprises to achieve energy reduction.The upper Yangtze river ports as external windows of western development, will occupy an increasingly important role in the further western development. So this paper put forward the application and research of energy-saving technologies based on LNGn LED in the upper Yangtze river ports. Work mainly includes the LNG, LED and power quality control technology application research in the upper Yangtze river ports.The paper accomplished the main contents include:â‘ The research backgroud and status at home and broad of the energy-saving new technologies application research were analysed. Introduce the application research significance of the energy-saving new technologies.â‘¡The performance contrastive analysis of the LNG engine and conventional gasoline engine was proceded by using GT-Power simulation software, while the application prospects and shortcomings of LNG vehicle were analysed. The project design of LNG working vehicle modification for Chongqing port area was done.â‘¢This paper analyzes the advantage of LED lighting, then, analyzes the port lighting solution. Analysis of the fever of the LED lighting lamps and lanterns, and the heat dissipation problem of high-power LED lighting was researched. Fog permeability contrast analysis of the LED lighting and high pressure sodium lamp was proceded. The fog permeability project design of Chongqing port area was done.â‘£The paper analyzes the current situation and methods of power quality control. The cause, principle and effect of the power grid reactive power compensation were analyzed, and the advantages and disadvantages of different compensation methods are compared. The port area power grid reactive power compensation are analyzed and designed. Analyses the causes and harm of the power grid harmonic, then analyses the different power grid harmonic governance programmes. Finally, the treatment scheme of port area power grid harmonic was done.
