Research On Hotels’ Energy-Saving And Emission Reduction Status In Changsha

Due to the increasing issues of ecological environment deterioration and energy shortage, protecting the environment and saving the energy become a topic attracting people’s attention. As large public buildings, hotels have the problem of high energy consumption and high pollution in their operation, so hotels’ energy conservation and consumption reduction work gets wide attention. Realizing and analyzing the current energy consumption and that equipments of hotels and setting the standards of it have significantly influence on the hotels’ energy saving and emission reduction work.This paper is study from those national and industry standards concerned. According to the current energy-using situation and that economic and technological level of the hotels in our country, there is five energy saving and emission reduction quota indexes picked for it. The five quota targets are comprehensive energy consumption per unit floorage, electrical consumption per unit floorage, water consumption per unit bed, sewage water consumption per unit bed and COD consumption per unit bed.According to the detailed results of the survey of the hotels’ energy saving and emission reduction current situation in Changsha and the requirements of those five indexes, the evaluation system of those limits in Changsha is established. In this paper, the benefits of energy saving and emission reduction is analyzed, and some suggestion about it is thrown out.In this paper, MARKAL model is used for the process research of hotels’ energy optimization. And the cost function and the emission reduction function are built for that optimization. Take a hotel’s energy efficiency renovation for example, the change of the cost and the certified emissions reductions which is connected with the quantity of the new energy replacement is analyzed in the process of that hotel’s energy optimization.The results provide a theory basis for the local evaluation system of hotels’ energy saving and emission reduction quota indexes, determine those indexes in Changsha and provide a research methods for the energy optimization.
