With the rapid development of the automotive industry and the increasing of theincome of China’s urban residents, more and more people using the vehicle, but theconstruction of parking facilities within the city is far behind the urban growth rate ofvehicle ownership, this kinds of contradictions eventually produce a "parkingdifficult" issue.To solve this problem, fully utilizing the limited parking resources,thegovernment departments have set a large open-air car parking in the urban downtownsection.However, how to regulate the order of uncovered parking, and how toimprove the effective utilization of parking space, how to reduce the driver’stime-consuming in find a free parking space, solving these problems is based on theaccurate perception and timely released to the parking’s status information.An intelligent Outdoor Parking Information Perception and Release Systembased on ZigBee and GPRS wireless communication technology was designed in thispaper. This system adopts CC2530and geomagnetic sensors to construct a ZigBeeWLAN and real-time collects the use of parking spaces in parking lots. Through theGPRS wireless communication technology the parking lot information was sent to theremote server to implement multiple parking unified distribution and management ofinformation. The Baidu Map were applied to get parking location information in thefront page of the remote server, to be Intuitively viewed by user or administrator.Through testing, the design implemented the timely and accurate release of outdoorparking information and can be applied in intelligent urban system.
