Detection and control of a very wide range of applications in the chemical, energy,power, metallurgy, oil and other fields have a crucial role. Natural gas industry isbooming stage, metering of natural gas has aroused particular concern, since the naturalgas gathering, processing, storage, marketing and other processes, many of whichinvolve millions of units of the meter, which some of the settlement amount involved isa huge number, so the accuracy and reliability of measurement and control are verystrict requirements for its. For many areas of modern agriculture, aerospace,bio-engineering, pipeline transportation, water conservancy construction, applicationflow meter is widely used.This artical is from the economical and practical point of view,using of theUnited States Atmel Corporation AT89C51microcontroller as a master chip and the datamemory unit, combined with capacitive differential pressure flow sensor, ADconverter,LCD display,sound alarm and so on.Dominated by the C programminglanguage,it describe a design of a V cone flowmeter which has a real-time detection offlow and the alarm function.This flow meter can realize the detection the natural fluidin the pipeline.This artical discusses the of flow based on SCM,mainly to solve thedesign of the whole system,the hardware circuit design and the design of the systemsoftware.This paper discusses in detail the classification of the meter, installation and theircharacteristics, V-cone flowmeter characteristics and differences between orificeflowmeter. Discusses the introduction of V-cone flowmeter works with the data base,the working principle of differential pressure flow meter and the overall design andsystem block diagram of the chip. Content includes hardware circuit, softwareprogramming and simulation process and results section.First, the design of the hardware circuit portion comprises: a sensor circuit, signalamplification circuit, A/D conversion circuit, SCM control circuit, display circuit andalarm system.Second, the software programming part, according to the module circuit designappropriate software program, to measure real-time traffic under control of themicrocontroller.
