As a full enclosed brake,wet multi-disc brake has several obvious advantages,such as anti-explosion,dust-protected,the brake torque,good cooling effect,easyto serialize and more. The thesis takes the wet multi-disc brake used on five-tonloader as the research topic,doing a good research on some key technical problemsinvolved in the working process simulation of the brake,such as the virtualsimulation about the working process of back spring, gear engagement, pipingfluid and so on,as a result realizes the working process virtual simulation of the wetmulti-disc brake. With the virtual reality software-Open Inventor-as platform,a-threedimensional virtual scene is created with SolidWorks,together with scene graph,engine and sensor mechanism of Open Inventor,the working process simulation ofbrake will be realized through object oriented programming methods.Recently virtual reality technology is widely used in engineering field. There isno virtual reality simulation about spring in our country so far,which becomes abottleneck in the promotion of virtual reality technology. In order to realize theworking process simulation of spring by animation principle,we need import aseries of three dimensional models of spring with different coil pitch and samenumber of circle firstly,then let them appear and disappear one by one according tothe time sequence given in advance in virtual scene. Besides,stress and strain ofspring can be analyzed on SolidWorks Simulation,then show them in the virtualscene to realize visual analysis of engineering of the spring.Particle system is a successful algorithm for generating graphics in simulatinganomalous blurry object. It has been widely used in the simulation of flame,smoke,current and so on. As oil belongs to irregular object,we should simulate it with thehelp of particle system. This thesis takes particle system in Open Inventor as basisand simulate the flow motion of oil by designing its parameter,then realizes thesimulation of oil flow in the hydraulic cylinder together with the calling of timingsensor and response function. Planetary gear has been widely used in the field of aviation,marine,automobile,metallurgy and so on by its compact-sized,strong bearing. In order to realize thesimulation of gear engagement,rotate node in Open Inventor should be used togetherwith timer queue sensors to set rotational speed of them in advance.And on this basis we realize the simulation of gear engagement in the planetaryreduction structure according the scene graph technology.Build the scene graph of working process simulation of the brake according toscene graph technology firstly,then realize the working process simulation of thebrake with the help of three key implementation technology above,sensor andengine function.
