In the process of modernization, the concrete pump truck is playing an increasingly important role with the development of engineering construction. Concrete needs to transport along the boom fabric hose system to a specified casting location, intelligent control of pump truck boom system is the key to achieving rapid and accurate casting. Boom will occur low-frequency vibration due to hydraulic shock and the discontinuous flow in the concrete pumping and the hose of boom end can not make accurate positioning, and will accelerate fatigue failure of the boom system.In this paper, take concrete pump truck boom system as the research object. Designed a sensor system that can accurately detect the state of concrete pump fabric hose through analysising the concrete pump fabric hose state and work process, so that Intelligent boom control system is able to calculating a moving direction and speed of watering points, and provide the basis for adjusting the boom control system.For the low-frequency vibration of the boom, modeling and simulating the truck boom bodies and boom hydraulic system with simulation software. Give some perturbation to the end of the boom and simulate the boom vibration, using active damping method to suppress vibration of the end of the boom by controlling the hydraulic cylinder. Respectively control the three-arm boom cylinder and the four--arm boom cylinder with PID controller and contrast the control result through simulation.Through analysising the simulation results shows that when control three-arm boom cylinder with PID controller, the damping effect is the best.The work that had done has some significance to the further improve of intelligent control to concrete pump truck boom system and the research of vibration suppression of the end of the boom.
