| Along with our country economy development and progress, the number offamily cars increased dramatically,followed by deterioration of the rapid growth ofoil consumption and urban air pollution, vehicle engine research of energy saving andemission reduction is imperative. Turbocharger doesn’t consume the power of engines,but can improve the performance of engine power, reduce fuel consumption, reducethe emissions of harmful substances in the engine exhaust gas, so the turbotechnology is widely used in automobile engines.In this paper, based on the research of turbocharger technology,implement theselection and matching research on turbocharger system for4G15T gasoline engine,specific research work includes the following aspects:1) Research on matching of the engine and turbocharger, According to4G15Tgasoline engines structure parameters and development goals, using the empiricalformula, determine primary scheme of turbocharger.2) Establish4G15T gasoline engine simulation model, import primaryturbocharger into the model, carry out engine and turbocharger matching calculation.3) The simulation of4G15T gasoline engine is compared and analyzed withrelated bench test, it turns out the simulation result is ideally consistent withvalidation test.4) Research on4G15T gasoline engine simulation calculation with turboc-hargers by using different compressor A/R. The results show, at engine low speedconditions, matching smaller A/R can improve engine torque effectively, reduce theengine fuel consumption,but at engine high speed conditions, due to the high pressurebefore turbine, engine pumping loss increases, engine power performance and fueleconomy are reduced. |
