Turbo technology has become one of the key energy conservation of internal combustion engine, but there are still many problems on the Turbocharged gasoline engine, such as insufficient low supercharging pressure, high speed and high load conditions prone to deflagration and turbocharger speed, starting and acceleration slow, poor transient response. Setting a waste valve in the turbocharged gasoline engine is one way to solve the problem, but mechanical waste valve just can limit the maximum boost pressure, cannot controlling multi-objective boost pressure. Electronically controlled waste valve can achieve the desired boost pressure, and the turbocharger can match well with gasoline engine by transient control waste valve in the acceleration and deceleration conditions, improving the matching performance of gasoline engine and turbocharger, deflagration and turbocharger surge and clogging do not occur. So research on matching turbocharger of electronically controlled waste valve with gasoline engine has a practical significance.According to major projects of Hunan Science and Technology(2014FJ1013) and subjects of State Key Laboratory of Advanced Design and Manufacturing for Vehicle Body(61075002), a simulation model of small turbocharged gasoline engine with electronically controlled waste valve system was built by the software of GT-POWER. The main contents and innovations are as follows:(1)The waste valve opening was calibrated using the controller module, and accordingly the turbocharger and gasoline steady match performance were analyzed, the results agree well with the experimental results.(2)The influence of boost pressure for acceleration transient response characteristics and of maximum opening time duration for turbocharger and gasoline engine operating point were obtained by simulation calculated the acceleration and deceleration conditions.(3)The maximum boost pressure during acceleration and opening time duration early deceleration were confirmed, analyzed the transient matching performance under transient control of waste valve, and then test verification.
