Traditional management pattern of transmission lines in the power grid company is low efficient and backward, which is no longer able to catch up with the rapid development of the modern power systems. On the basis of extensive literature survey in equipment management、production system、online monitor system、performance management system, etc, as well as with the integration of advanced production management system in power grid companies home and abroad, this thesis proposes an integrated production management system for transmission lines by closely following the requirement of SGCC on constructing smart grids. The proposed pattern is based upon the construction and application of condition monitoring system and integrated with the recent progress in information technology and related equipments, with the purpose of building smart transmission system. In this way, the traditional management way is totally broken, and the operation and maintenance resources are effectively mobilized, while the management efficiency and system reliability are improved by a large margin. To adapt to the change in management system, the organization of transmission line work area is reorganized, the managerial responsibility is adjusted with the absorption of condition monitoring system, and the business processes for line operation and maintenance are reengineered. Labor time standard and lean performance scoring system are formulated, which significantly improve the productivity of human resource. Meanwhile, the security system and technical support system are constructed to ensure the steady and smooth implementation of the new system. The work conducted in this thesis can provide constructive reference to smart and lean management of transmission system in the future.
