Research And Development With Positioning Function Of The Vehicle Traveling Data Recorder

In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s socialist market economy, people’s living standards are improving. And the amount of carsis also increasing year by year. At the same time, a series of traffic safety issues and destination navigation problems arising therefrom. According to the successful experience of developed countries, the government of China advocates the use of vehicle traveling data recorder, and began to implement new country standard on Sepember1st,2012. Compared to the old standard published in2003, the new one demands two points. One point is the perfection of communication protocol and the consistency of product appearance. The other point is to expand basic ructions properly and improve technological grade of products. So,the development of multi-purpose vehicle traveling data recorder, combined with navigation functions, andthe integration of entertainment and communication, will become the development tendency of vehicle traveling data recorder in the future.In this paper, taking thedemand of domestic market into account, a kind of vehicle traveling data recorderwith positioning function is designed according to new country standard strictly. The recorder uses TCC8902chip and STM32F103RBT6single chip micyoco as the processor system. Papermakes Windows CE6.0operating system kernel based on the hardware.Then, paper develops the BSP and introduces the development process of BootLoader and OEM Abstraction Layer(OAL) in detail. On the customized operating system, HT-X software design framework is proposed. This framework packs every software fuction module and makes them communicate through the interfaces, so that the underlying hardware and the upper application modules can be separated well. Finally, based on the implementation of the software framework, the paper finishes software developments about GPS/Beidou navigation satellite fuction, vehicle information inquiring and other function modules.The vehicle traveling data recorder showed in this paper has been completed successfully. It also has a good response in the domestic market and is praised in this field.
