| Because of national strategy and the actual demand, the UHV (Ultra High Voltage) AC substation was being widely used in china. Therefore, the research on the UHV substation monitoring and controling system is becoming more and more important. At present, the substation monitoring and controling system is going into a stage of standardization and intelligence from traditional integrated automation. So the study of UHV substation monitoring and control system will have a significant place.First, this paper gives a presentation of DL/T860which has been use as a power industry standard in china. DL/T860protocol include four aspects, information system modeling, communication services and interfaces, communication protocols and network, SCL(substation configuration language). The research on DL/T860will pave a way to substation monitoring and controlling system.In order to know how the monitoring and controlling system of substation works, the main equipment’s function and the overall architecture of the system should be explained. According to the function and communication protocol stack, the communication model of those equipment was been established by using OPNET software which always been use in network simulation. With the help of OPNET’s standard mode library, a substation monitoring system simulation platform can be built. This simulation platform could evaluate the reliability of the most of substation monitoring and controlling systems. By this way, we can put the substation monitoring and controlling system simulation into the protocol stack simulation level.According to a real domestic UHV substation, I give some typical designs of the monitoring system’s topology structure, and conducted communication reliability simulation to those designs by using the substation monitoring system simulation platform. What I do is not much, but it may be useful to the construction of UHV substation. |
