Thermal power produces large amounts of waste gas, waste water, waste residue,causes serious pollution to the atmosphere and water environment. Because of thescarcity of the coal resource, once it was dried up, will not be renewable short-term.So the use of renewable energy power generation brought to the attention of the world.Wind power technology is relatively mature, the technical performance is superior,becomes one of the fastest growing renewable energy power in recent years. One ofthe basic work of building a wind farm is to determine the appropriate turbines modelfor the wind farm wind.Wind turbines is the main equipment of wind farm, theinvestment of wind turbines accounts is about60%to80%of the total investment ofwind farm. Wind turbine type selection has the vital significance to capacity of windpower generating and economic indicator. However, the increasing of differentmodels wind turbines of the domestic fan manufacturers, technical route, performanceparameters makes the fan selection work more complex and important. This articlewill study the land wind fan type selection.Analytic hierarchy process is used in this paper to study on the land wind turbinetype selection. By carding the literature of home and abroad, find that the actualturbine type selection methods were mostly used the work of technical and economiccomparison method put forward in the1990s. Wind turbine selection work needs totake various aspects of factors into account, and the importance of the various factorson the selection work should be reflected in its weight, this is significant to thesuccess of wind turbine selection and even the entire wind power project construction.But economic comparison method ignores the difference of weights of different fanselection factors, is not adapt to the current wind turbine selection work. Universalwind turbine selection index system is presented in this paper, and use the analytichierarchy process to the scientific wind turbine selection factors. A domestic landwind farm is set as a example, selecting methods are verified the applicability for thewind turbine type selection.This paper draw the conclusion: the established index system of land wind fanselection has universal applicability; Using the analytic hierarchy process for windturbine selection factors affecting empowerment proved to be scientific and applicable;application of analytic hierarchy process to the wind turbine selection has certainfeasibility in the fan selection, and it can provide the reference for practicalengineering construction.
