With the rapid development of economic growth in China, the railway also experiencesan unprecedented development stage by leaps and bounds.Since the1990s, exiting railwayhas undergone six reforms of train diagram adjustment, and through constant reforms, moreand more new lines, double tracking railways and passenger dedicated line are constructed bya large scale. In this case, the type of train is steadily increasing and the speed of train isfurther promoted, and passenger train appears new running order with new fast intercity trains,dusk-to-dawn trains and day-circular trains are put into operation.In addition, the ‘long-termrailway network plan’ clearly points out that our country will build passenger linescontinuously in the future for meeting the needs of a more diverse passenger transport andimproving the quality of passenger service.Separate operations on passenger and freight lineswill be the future trend.Railway network planning determines the direction of railway reform,but railwayconstruction is still in the transition stage currently. With different types of trains mixed in theexisting railway lines, velocity difference of trains not only changes the operation plan inexisting railway, but also aggravate the difficulty of train diagram establishment. For thisreason, running staff often need to take constantly adjustments to ensure the punctuality rateand service level. In this case, the available space for freight trains running line greatlyreduced, and freight trains appears to avoid the high-speed train at the overtaking stationgenerally, causing interference between different trains, and capacity will inevitably beseverely affected. Therefore, to analyze influential factors of train diagram objectivelybecomes particularly necessary.This paper sets the existing main railways as study subject. Firstly, the paper outline thetheory, the preparation steps and evaluation methods of train diagram. Secondly, consideringa variety of factors that affect the quality of train diagram in mixed operations, some thoughtsand theory of multidimensional space are used for detailed analysis of train diagramscheduling process, and establish a number collection associated with all the factors. Based onthe prophase analysis, with CTCS-1and CTCS-2train control system mixed, this paperestablish a one-way train transport organization model using the theory and methods ofcellular automata. Focused on interference and delays between trains under different factors,the paper is mainly analyzing how the section capacity and average stop time change by thelinear change of station spacing, mixture ratio and departure time interval, which providestheoretical reference for the establishment process of train diagram in actual transportcondition.
