Middle Route Project of S-N water diversion involved range, long lines, alongthe complex building is various, hydraulic control, the harmony of the system is thewhole problem involves the macroscopic aspect and microscopic aspect. The staticand dynamic simulation analysis to the system is the most effective way to improvethe efficiency of the system running safety and running. Through simulation andoptimization decision study of these problems, to analyze the complex water runningcharacteristics, validation and optimization of system operation scheduling scheme.Many problems of south-to-north water transfer project, for example, use waterlevel before the brake operation mode, no online regulating reservoir; Channel limitwater level amplitude is small; hard operating conditions; because the line is verylong,water from the tao Tuan Cheng lake bifurcation feeding to Beijing takes2weeks under the design condition, gravity wave propagation from the tao bifurcationto Beijing Tuan Cheng lake also needs more than2days, hydraulic control isdifficult; Channels can be divided into60of61gate along the canal pool, eachdisturbance generated by the operation of the gate will spread to the upstream anddownstream, the coupling effect of ditch between the pool will influence on theperformance of the system response and control effect.These characteristics determine the midline engineering hydraulics problems ofdifficulty and complexity. In order to ensure the safe operation of channels, waterlevel and flow changes should be controlled in a certain range in the operationprocess. Many researchers on each of these questions have a lot of research work,some of research results have reference meaning.But there are still many keyhydraulics problems remain to be further study, the introduction of modernautomatic control technology, try to make the most of available channel itself toregulate the volume, improve the efficiency of safety reliability and water, and meetthe requirements of real-time control running water, is the key of the middle routeproject must solve engineering technology. In this paper, study the hydraulicoperation control of the middle route project,use SWMM software simulation on asingle channel by using the gate under different opening and closing speed and gateopening change rule of hydraulic parameters and the surface of the water line, thesimulation results show that the gate is to adjust the faster speed and open degree ofchange, impact on canal water level fluctuation more obvious, channel response time will be shortened. To take the most optimal control strategy, In this paper, we usedynamic matrix predictive control, Matlab programming environment, simulationcanal section of the predictive control of dynamic response and analyzing itsperformance, in the case of ensure the safe operation of the drainage pool to reachthe optimal control strategy. Results showed that the ability to quickly and stablestate of the balance of canal transition to the pool.
