Railway passenger transport hub is not only the main node to concentrate the city inside and outside traffic, but also an important portal of the city. Cohesion between railway passenger transport hub and the city traffic modes not only affects the transfer efficiency of passengers, but also affects the image of the city.In this paper, the study of connection of railway passenger transport hub begins mainly from hub interior, hub joint part and hub perimeter network as three aspects of Railway passenger transport hub convergence, regard the transport hub as a system and break it up the whole into parts.First of all, the research of railway passenger hub interior relates theories of ergonomics and systems engineering, etc., analysis the "pseudo-bottleneck" phenomenon of the same kind of facilities in the transfer process and builds the mathematical model and calculation methods about the "pseudo-bottleneck". In analyzing the hub internal pedestrian flow line, parallel and series structure on similar facilities is proposed, complex reasons of pedestrian flow line inside the hub is gotten, and propose to optimize the system of identification information in internal hub, in order to eliminate the "pseudo-bottleneck" phenomenon and increase passengers’ awareness of parallel structure facilities.Secondly, the railway hub joint part study majorly analyzes layout and size of the city transport (public transport, rail transport and taxis) for each functional area, capacity’s coordination between the city transportation and railway transport, and approaches are provided to adjust capacity’s coordination between the city transportation and railway transport. Taking management measures to diverging and converging of vehicles entering and leaving the hub, and introduce cellular automata FI model to simulate this process.Furthermore, railway passenger hub perimeter transport network researches three assumptions perimeter about that perimeter transport network has effect on internal and external connection of railway passenger hub. Based on the three assumptions, the paper proposes transportation travel time reliability as indicators to measure the influence of perimeter transport network on internal and external connection of railway passenger hub, and gives the corresponding model and calculation methods.Finally, based on the analysis indexes of the previous sections, create evaluation system of railway passenger hub internal and external connection, and use of fuzzy evaluation method to evaluate the evaluation system, in which Beijing West Railway Station is regarded as a case study.
