A Research On Urban Planning Information Systemduring Smart Planning Era

In the era of traditional measure, the technology of urban planning business, including accounting, calculation, file management and so on, was based on hand-making method and paper-based management. In the era of digital planning, electronic drawing instead of paper drawing became the most wide spread medium in urban planning business. Using this method, most of shortcoming in traditional planning era could be overcame. However, manual calculation and accounting, less outcome of project and electric file management method became the defect in the era. Nowadays, in most of the cities, the technology in urban planning business is still stuck in the digital era. In some cities, informationize is not complete. However, as the urban construction accelerated dramatically, the original urban planning technology can no longer satisfy the rapidly surge in business.Each urban planning business technology is analyzed in this article and the characteristics of each stage of business and technology are compared in detail in the article. After analyzing the requirements of urban planning business in each institution, including designing department, construction department, accounting department and approving department, during smart planning era, a solution is proposed, which is divided into four parts and each part is associated with a department. A system, YiJingTong System, based on AutoCAD2008, using.NET technology, is showed after the solution. By using this system, the office automation system can access to the spatial data in CAD file, which can improve the efficiency of urban planning business.
