The Indicator-system Of Regulatory Detailed Planning Of Low-Carbon Cities

Global climate change is a huge challenge for humanity. Reducing carbon emissions becomes a common goal for all countries. The city is an important factor to reduce carbon emissions. Through rational planning and scientific guidance, it can effectively reduce carbon emissions. Currently, the urban planning lacks of low-carbon content and standards. Low-carbon researches stay in the macro-level of strategic and micro level of energy saving and green building technologies, etc. The regulatory detailed planning, especially indicator-system on low-carbon lacks of guidance. By low-carbon researches summary, this paper tries to establish a low-carbon indicator-system for the regulatory detailed planning. It provides construction and technical support for low-carbon cities, and has a certain theoretical and practical significance for urban planning. This paper is divided into six chapters. The main contents of the chapters are as follows:Chapter Ⅰ is the introduction. To begin with, this paper studies on the origin and background, analyzes the research themes and the concepts, and then introduces methods, framework, significance and innovation.Chapter Ⅱ makes a comparative review on the concepts and theories of low-carbon city, sustainable development, green building technologies, etc. It helps to have a clear understanding of the contents and implementation condition of new town development.Chapter Ⅲ is the interpretation of the low-carbon urban planning. It analyzes the emphasis contents of the regional planning, master planning and detailed planning.Chapter Ⅳ is the interpretation of the low-carbon of indicator-system for the regulatory detailed planning. It firstly discusses the mode of how to formulae a low-carbon indicator-system, then establishes the district and block framework of the indicator-system for the regulatory detailed planning. Secondly it discusses three typical areas for residential, commercial, industrial areas, then put forwards the quantitative indicators from the land layout, facilities, resource utilization, traffic, ecological environment and building construction. Finally, it presents the assessment of the low-carbon indicator-system from economic, social, environmental effectiveness.Chapter Ⅳ is the regulatory detailed planning study on Wuxi eco-demonstration area. It presents a low-carbon indicator-system and system assessment for Wuxi eco-demonstration area. Chapter Ⅵ is the Conclusion. It makes a conclusion and puts forwards the direction which can be further discussed.The whole thesis contains about65000words,40pictures and charts.
