Electric wheel hub reducer is a relatively advanced vehicle drive technology, thetransmission efficiency of the electric wheel is not very high, but also has a very lowmanufacture costs. So this type of electric wheel-drive technology in the field ofelectric vehicles in the future application prospects is very good. However, due to therequirements of the vehicle through the performance, in the design of the electricwheel which are required to limit the overall geometry of the device, in this case, tomeet the power requirements of the car.In this paper, the study design concluding: the ultimate goal is to optimize thevolume size of the device, the main factor is the size of the axial and radialdimensions. By drawing on literature overview of the development of electric wheelvehicles, combined with the current technological developments reducer industry, thepaper chosen a more appropriate arrangement of the two motors and reducers, andintegrate this research.The first arrangement of axial motor and planetary gear reducer are arranged inan integrated manner, the second motor built into the integrated approach of theplanetary gear reducer inside, the two structures can give full play to the structure ofthe planetary gear reducer and performance advantages, the main structure of the firstset of axial design, the design of the second main radial dimension. Then the dynamicfinite element contact analysis, the final results of the analysis and combining theresults of the selection of the appropriate size electric wheel arrangement.In this paper, the main job of the research includes the following aspects:Firstly, the working principle of the hub wheel motor reducer, planetary line andintroduced the characteristics of the hub reducer, pursuant to elect two moreappropriate transmission mode, and this mode of mechanical transmissioncharacteristic analysis constitutes manner.Secondly, according to job requirements reducer electric wheel hub reducer,carried out the design parameters of the transmission mechanism of calculations todetermine the parameters of the main components of the agency, the use of CATIAsoftware to establish a three-dimensional model of the various components andassembly.Again, using ANSYS software, the core component of the planetary gear reducermechanism for dynamic simulation analysis of the contact and bending stresses two aspects gear.Finally, the integration of institutions using the ADAMS software verifies theperformance of the integrated organization in terms of power. Ultimately determinewhether the organization meets the requirements.Through analysis of this paper, the design selection of an integrated two-stageplanetary gear reduction mechanism, and verify that the organization meets thestrength and power of the two requirements.
