| Motor pump is a hydraulic power component with new structure, which has theadvantages of compact structure, low vibration and noise, high power density. A axial pistonmotor pump with double swash plate is designed in this paper, the pump body of which isintegrated inside the shielding motor and the working medium is seawater or freshwater. Theprototype has the characteristics of highlight efficiency and little vibration. However, due tothe limited space of structure, researches show that the suction performance of motor pump ispoor. In order to improve the suction performance of motor pump, a booster pump which isput on the suction port of the motor pump to enhance the inlet energy of the port valve isdesigned.Firstly, according to the design requirements, the composition of the booster pump andvane type are chosen based on the theory of centrifugal pumps and axial flow pumps. Thebooster pump is composed of the idler pulley and the impeller. Basic Parameters of the idlerpulley and the impeller are obtained by analysis and calculation. Thus, the three-dimensionalmodel of booster pump is obtained after vane hydraulic model of booster pump is designed byusing the theory of one dimensional flow design.Then the whole flow field model in suction port is set up based on the idler pulley andimpeller model. The whole flow field velocity contours and pressure contours are obtained byusing ANSYS Fluent software to simulate the flow motion states of the fluid at differentrotation speed. By analyzing the velocity and pressure of import and export in the boosterpump, we can obtain the fluid energy increment of the suction port of the booster pump. Thisshows that the newly designed booster pump has a certain effect on the fluid.According to the kinematical equations of the port valve and the plunger, a port valve-piston unit model is built by using AMESim software. The simulated results indicate that thedisplacement of valve core, the lag time of opening and closing of valve core and the pressureof plunger are all affected by booster pump. Having Compared and analyzed these data, wecan chose the appropriate speed for motor pump. |
