As a new technology of large-scale utilization and development of solar energyresources, the solar chimney power generation technology has become a focus of manyresearchers new energy. Accurate simulation of the temperature field and velocity field ofair in the solar chimney system will directly affect the energy conversion and outputpower of the whole system prediction. How to find and use more suitable model andcalculation method to simulate the temperature field and velocity field of air inside thechimney system has always been a diligent direction of the many researchers at home andabroad.Most of the work on the numerical simulation of the solar chimney system is basedon the Boussinesq buoyancy approximation method. In this paper, we discussed the realboundary method of numerical simulation in solar chimney system, and compared thesimulation results with the Boussinesq buoyancy approximation method, discovered theadvantages of this method in simulation of solar chimney system. Then based on thismethod, we further discussed the change law of air relative humidity in the solar chimneysystem after adding food drying part, and analyzed the influence of various factors on theresults, such as the different inlet air humidity, different chimney height and differentevaporation rate, and explained it in theory.
