Performance comprehensive evaluation indicators of water supply pipe networkcan provide a theoretical basis for the updating and optimization of pipeline network, and it is a far-reaching and challenging issue. In this paper, on the basis ofcomprehensive study of the pipeline network running status, a quantitativeperformance evaluation indicators system of water supply network was developed.First of all, on the basis of summarizing the previous experience and results, through the comparative analysis of evaluation methods, comprehensive evaluationsystem for the performance of water supply network was put forward combined withthe actual situation, with the static structure evaluation, hydraulic vulnerability andwater quality vulnerability combination of leakage and economic performancenetwork.Second, the structural level evaluation system was proposed based on the Expertevaluation method. The seven evaluation impact factors of pipe age, diameter, internaland external lining was determined through screening process; The parameter weightswere determined by studying the previous research results.Again, vulnerability evaluation system on hydraulic and water quality of thewater supply network was put forward. Hydro entropy and chlorine, water age, AOC,turbidity and hardness was selected as index for hydraulic and water qualityvulnerability evaluation; Annual costs and Leakage index were converted to evaluatenetwork performance and energy efficiency of the economy. Then, comprehensivedthese five indicators established a comprehensive performance evaluation system. Finally, the performance evaluation system was applied to the water supplynetwork in a development zone of north China. The proposed approach provided ascientific basis to achieve the scientific management of network and to protect thesecurity of water supply.
