Energy saving assessment aims to evaluate the rationality and feasibility of theselected energy types, designed energy production, transformation and utilization, andthe advancement of the designed energy consumption indicators of the constructionproject according to the relevant national energy conservation laws, regulations andstandards. It analyzes the situation of responsible energy use, the technical measuresand the possible energy saving effect of energy saving. Finally, it offers thecomprehensive assessment views and suggestions of the construction project. In theenergy-saving evaluation, the six types of energy consumption need to be evaluatedand calculated, including electricity, water, gas, heating, air conditioning, and otherenergy. For public buildings, the energy consumption of HVAC accounted for abouttwo-thirds of the total of the building, so whether the calculation of the HVACenergy consumption in public buildings is accurate is particularly important for theoverall energy saving evaluation work.This paper explores the energy consumption calculation method adopted in thepresent the public building energy efficiency evaluation and analyzes the problems inthe existing energy-saving evaluation. It presents the new energy consumptionprediction method used in the public building energy efficiency evaluation with thehelp of eQuest-a professional energy consumption calculation software, verifies thefeasibility and accuracy of the calculation results through the case analysis, and finallydevelops the energy consumption software in review and prediction, which improvesthe efficiency of energy consumption calculation in energy-saving evaluation withfriendly interface and simple operation, to strengthen the practicality of the energyconsumption prediction method.
