Bill Validator is widely used in banks, retail, transportations, etc. where shelf-helpcapture to expend is needed. Most of the BILL VALIDATOR used in the finance fieldare imported abroad. Research and develop a kind of bill validator which ishigh-reliable, and has the functions of paper currency identify, currency pilferage proofand currency package, in order to change the monopoly situation of bill validator byother countries and meet the need of cost-effective devices at home.This article first made a research on the market of the paper currency identifydevice at home, by analyzing the functions and performances of the main bill validatorscome from abroad, got the functions and parameters of bill validator of RMB used athome, the key technology of bill validator was analyzed as well.The key structures of bill validator were designed here, they were currencytransportation mechanism, position correcting mechanism and package mechanism.Using the MSC software ADAMS to do the kinematics analysis and dynamics analysisof package mechanism was mainly discussed here, the analysis result indicated that, thedriving moment and load on the axial of pendulum lever mechanism is larger than thatof CAM, took the reliability into consideration, the pendulum lever mechanism wasused here.The key components of bill validator was stimulated, for the load on the axial ofdriving axial was very large, using the finite element analysis software ABAQUS tocheck the strength of the fixed shaft of package mechanism was needed, the simulationresult indicated that, the fixed shaft of package mechanism was strong enough. using theABAQUS to simulate the dropping of the safe. The result indicated that, if the bottomor the angel of the safe reach the ground first, the stress, the strain and the kineticenergy of the safe changed enormously, but the stress still smaller than the materialyield stress, it means that the safe can satisfy the dropping strength.The integration test was done on the bill validator, the test items mainly about thesmooth of the channel, position deviation test of currency, the continuous workingreliability of bill validator (operation stability test, scanning consistency test, currencyjam test and package stability test),the test result indicated that, all the tests satisfied therequest, the device can run with high stability.This article is about the development of the bill validator for financial field, mainlydeals with the design and analysis of the structure, the transportation of currency, theposition correction of currency and the package as well, were discussed. Theconclusions and data acquired here can be used as references of currency identify deviceand the other relevant device, and the device has some application value.
