Simulation Model’s Exploitation Of MR Damper On Landing Gear

MR damper can sustainably provide adjustable damping force, and have the advantage of simple, stable and durable structure. With all of the points, the MRF damper has a vast prospect in the field of aircraft landing gear application. Before a new designed MR damper is applied to the landing gear,MR damper must be launched many tests to make sure that it is safety enough to be used on the landing gear.Dropping test of landing gear is one of these tests. The dropping test is launched on the testbed of landing gear which is installed MR damper,then we analysis the dynamic performance of this landing gear during the process of the whole test and verify this landing gear has satisfied the design requirements.The costs of all tests are expensive.If the tests fail,we must redesign the MR damper and test it again.If that happens,it must increase design time,manufacture time and costs.For decreasing the design time,manufacture time and expenditure,a simulation platform which can simulate the process of all tests is developed. The simulation platform has four modules,the names of the four modules are MR damper performance test,dropping simulation,running shock test,whole airplane shocking test.The dropping simulation module that charge for the landing gear dropping simulation is a important part of this simulation platform. The dropping simulation module one module of the simulation platform has four submodules,their names are ADAMS simulation submodule,Matlab simulation submodule,Dynamics and maths simulation submodule,result comparision submodule. ADAMS simulation submodule emphasis on dynamics simulation which obtain from commercialized simulation software ADAMS.Matlab simulation submodule emphasis on semi-active controller simulation.Dynamics and maths simulation submodule focuses on dynamic equations and math equations.Resault comparison submodule focuses on comparing simulation outcomes and test consequences and provides references about the judgement of simulation model to the dropping simulation module.Using the dropping simulation module,datae must be inputed and outputed.There are many dates about dropping simulation.For managing these datas well,we must use data bank software to manage these datas.ACCESS data-base is applied to the dropping simulation module for controlling all datas of the simulation module.Simulation consequences and test results are compared for perfecting models of landing gear with MR damper.Dropping simulation module can simulate the dropping test and analysis the personalities of landing gear with MR damper.It also provide references for designing and manufacturing MR damper.
