As a new type of relay, magnetic latching relay, which is featured by stronganti-interference and energy saving, was applied in electronic watt-hour meter and so on. Atpresent, the magnetic relay of bearing capacity for90has been widely used. While, themagnetic relay of bearing capacity for120is stepping up efforts to develop. As animportant part of the switching device, the electric life, tolerance, and impulse currentindicators attract so many people’s attention. To solve these problems, with reference torelevant test standard, this topic carries out the further research for magnetic latching relaylife test, shock, tolerance test technology and test equipment. The main work is as follows.On the basis of relevant standards, I have summarized the requirements of magneticlatching relay life test, shock, tolerance test. The test method of meeting the standards hasbeen put forward. I have designed the experiment conditions, the contact failure criterionand test sequence. Moreover, I have summarized the functions which the test equipmentshould have.According to the requirements of test conditions, the main circuit of electrical life testof resistance and inductive load has been designed. This circuit can experiment withmagnetic latching relay life test of80A,90A,100A and120A, which has the very goodgenerality. Referring to the current mechanism of instantaneous dynamic test, the maincircuit of impact and tolerance test has been designed, which generates1000A to3600Atest current.Adopting industrial control computer of the processing unit, USB7648A of USB bus isdata acquisition card, and PCL720of PCI bus is control card. Computer control anddetection system is designed. The control of sequential test and the detection of parameterhave been realized. On the basis of the test parameters, voltage and current is calculatedthrough data processing and test parameters.Writing the visual man-machine interface on the LABVIEW platform, the function ofthe initialization of the test, the user parameters Settings, the display of the test waveform,the product failure determination, storing the test data, examining the test data andgenerating the report has been achieved.Through practical application, the developing magnetic latching relay life test, shock,tolerance test technology and test equipment which is computer control and detection isfeatured by detection of good commonality and high cost performance.
