Unconventional dedicated tower crane is a kind of new type tower crane isdesigned for specific architecture; it makes up for construction of common crane in thesimilar thermal power plant cooling tower、chimney structure、railway bridge and otherspecific architectures. Due to the construction level bridge in the design, it can lift thebuilding materials and transport them horizontally at the same time. Greatly improve theconstruction efficiency, reducing the cost of the project.In this paper, the theoretical basis of analysis is finite element method, and theplatform of analysis is the large-scale finite element analysis software ANSYS. Throughthe analysis of the structure size and performance of unconventional dedicated towercrane, established the finite element model of tower crane.Static analysis of unconventional dedicated tower crane in the two kinds of staticbalance dangerous condition. Modal and harmonic response analysis of tower crane,extracts of the former8natural frequencies and vibration modes, and analysis of thevibration modes. Carry out the harmonic response of displacement curves of differentparts in simple harmonic excitation. And compared with the results of modal analysis,get the most prone to vibration frequency.Reference to national seismic code, calculated the value of seismic spectrum oftower crane, seismic spectrum analysis of tower crane by spectrum analysis module ofANSYS software. And obtained some preliminary results, provide a certain reference toSeismic design of earthquake resistance of tower crane. Analysis of hoisting system of unconventional dedicated tower crane,Establishedthe mathematical model of hoisting system, and improved particle swarm optimizationalgorithm. Achieved the optimized of hoisting system of unconventional dedicatedtower crane by MATLAB, and the effect is obvious.
