Analysis And Application Research Of Remanufacturing For Auto Starter

The auto parts remanufacturing can effectively cut down the consumption of mineralresources and energy consumption, reduce the emissions of waste and prolong parts’ life. Thestarter is one of the important parts of the car. The remanufacturing on it not only realizes theconservation of resources to achieve sustainable development, but also improves the technicalperformance of starter.In this paper, based on the related knowledge of the remanufacturing and the structure,principle, performance of the starter, the main failure forms and reasons of starter weresummarized and the test methods and parameters of each starter parts were introduced. Thislaid the foundation of the starter remanufacturing technology.After detailed analysis on the remanufacturing process of mechanical and electronicproducts, a set of remanufacturing process appropriate to starter was proposed that includingdisassembly, cleaning, classification, detection, remanufacturing machining, assembly afterthe test etc.. According to the process, this paper took a certain slow type of starter as anexample, and had a detailed analysis from the disassembly to the assembly completed.Further, based on the proposed process flow, there were an evaluation and analysis ofremanufacturing for starter. At first, this paper established an evaluation system ofremanufacturing, which included technicality, economy, environmental. Then the analysismodels and calculation models were set up. Taking the selected type of deceleration starter forexample to do the calculation on it, the correctness of the model was verified. This alsoconfirmed the feasibility of remanufacturing for starter from the point of technology.Finally, according to the performance characteristics of starter, this paper determined thetest items. And according to the test projects, a type of deceleration starter afterremanufacturing was done the durability test. For the judgment basis of the test results and thestandard values, the conclusion that whether or not it was qualified was obtained.
