Green Residential Design Based On Bim

In recent years, the air pollution problem is getting worse and worse that raised theconflict between Urban development and Environment protection. Residential Environmenthas becoming a hotspot that people concern. As residential construction is one of the mostimportant factors in Human Residential Environmental Evaluation System, research on howto develop Green Residence has becoming a top priority in the industry. BIM(BuildingInformation Modeling) as the synonym of information technology of the building industry inour country has been greatly popularized. It is not a new drawing tool and mean of expression,but an advanced technology of enhance design quality, work efficiency, economic efficiency.LEED(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the most popular and the mostinfluential evaluation criterion for Green Building, the ami is to reduce the negative impact ofenvironment and residents effectively, the specification of the concept of a complete andaccurate for Green Building, in order to prevent the Excessive greening of building.In China, resources, environment, society, economy and cultures are very different fromthe western countries. The Green Residence design has to be based on China’s specialcircumstances, to formulate reasonable plan and standard instead of aimless copying westernsedign’s thoughts and techniques. This article is focused on Green Housing Design, includingwhat kind of strategy and model of design is more pertinence to China’s current societyenvironment and Green Housing design’s developing stage. This article firstly introduces twoconcepts as BIM and LEED authentication standard, then it explains these two concepts andits further derivate problems of Green Housing Design on its development in reality. It studiesand researches China’s Green Housing projects and western Green Housing case studies,based on LEED and BIM, presents a Green Residence design model. This model is verifyingby practical cases and examinations, and believes to be a valuable reference to China’s GreenHousing Design.
