Packaging industry is related to people’s life closely, and people need more andmore food, beverage and pharmaceutical which is all liquid. And this is helpful forpackaging industry’s development. So it can be seen that people can’t get high qualitylife without advanced packaging equipment. The filling machine investigated in thispaper is a kind of packaging equipment. Lack of researching and development offilling equipment and the theory of fluid are the key factors restrict the developmentof filling technology in our country. Given the current situation, we begin to do fillingtest and filling flow fluid field analysis on the filling equipment that was made byourselves, and we can get the law of motion which is valuable for the development ofour packaging industry.In order to study the law of motion of fluid comprehensively, we combine thetwo methods which are text analysis and numerical analysis. We adopt the orthogonaltest analysis method and multi-group numerical analysis methods; the process of thesecond method is creating a model firstly, and then imports the suit format into ICEMCFD. In order to ensure high precision results, we use structural grid mesh. At last weimport it into fluent and solve it. Currently, few people use this method forresearching the filling equipment.This paper mainly contains three parts:Firstly: Use the numerical analysis test method for the transition structure, thefilling pipe has five different transition structures, and setting each of the two fluidsthree different velocities, then explores the movement of the fluid in the differenttransition structure filling pipe. And find out the law of motion, this is helpful fordesigning more suitable transition structure of pipeline.Secondly: First design an orthogonal table, test the filling equipment and findout the primary and secondary factors affecting the filling results. Then use thenumerical analysis method to do the experiment for nozzles which has differentshape. And get different movement of various fluids which is under the differentconditions. Combine these two methods to find out the mechanism of the factorswhich affects filling. And this is helpful for designing suitable shape of nozzle.Thirdly: Before making a flow field analysis to the process of piston pump’smovement and in order to complete this analysis smoothly, we should research the piston’s movement and valve’s movement respectively because of the complexmovement of the pump piston. Then get the law of the fluid’s movement in thepiston pump which is helpful for designing piston pump.This article put up three indicators to measure the state of fluid flow field inthe pipeline which are pressure, turbulent kinetic energy and the ratio of the phasevolume. Then chose the matlab to deal with these data, we can get the primary andsecondary factors which impact the filling, the way to design the suitable transitionstructure, the way to design the rational shape of filling nozzle, and also can get thestate of the fluid’s movement during the work of piston pump. And this can providea theoretical basis for designing superior piston pump.
