| Masonry arch dam has amount of outstanding merits, such as using localmaterials, simple construction, small investment, large profit and safety performance,this is a kind of common dam among middle-size and small-size water conservancyproject, so it is valuable to study ess-strain of dam for design and safety evaluation.This paper states the general situation of development and feature of arch damand masonry arch dam roundly, introduces current situation of analytical method ofmasonry arch dam, adopts Finite Element Program of3-D isoperimetric elementwith8nodes which is established by Prof. Liu Guoming to analyze hyperbola masonryarch dam in static and dynamic. The numerical calculation involves gravity, sedimentpressure, water pressure and temperature load, analyzes temperature field in dam,considers seismic effect with approximate static method, and get a system of results ofess-strain discipline. They are references for design and safety evaluation of dam. Theconclusions are below:(1) From the analysis of temperature field in dam, we can know that temperaturehas great effective for displacement, temperature drop creates displacement of dam todownstream, exotherm leads displacement of dam to upstream, the temperature’seffective is in local area, main in arch abutment and underneath gate pier.(2) Imitating layered construction by using the method of freeze, activation,modification by restriction, and at the same time, imitating building of each layer byusing air unit, so that modeling the weight effective to dam stress more reasonabley.(3) Adopting Finite Element Program of3-D isoperimetric element with8nodeswhich is named sqtp.f and arch.f. sqtp.f is is used for temperature load, integratingstable temperature field and quasi-steady temperature field, and can get distribution oftemperature by nestification automaticly. arch.f is used for analysis of linear elasticitystress and displacement, it can considerate weight, fixate, water pressure, distributedforce and temperature load. The most protrudent feature of the procedure is Imitatinglayered construction, imitating building of each layer and sluicing in a staged manner,this is precede ordinary business software.(4) Calculating equivalent stress of masonry arch dam, because of complex structure of gate pier and downflow weir, irregular of finite element gridding, theregion of equivalent stress the project in this paper is a small area of removing damabutment and the area of gate pier and downflow weir. Actually, stress value in thisarea of dam is large and important. So the area which is chose by this paper is sound. |
