Study On The Design Strategy Of Green Campus

The worsening global climate and high energy consumption development mode leadto the human facing of environment and energy crisis. Now the whole world focuseson protecting environment and saving resources. The development mode has to changefrom high energy consumption mode to high efficiency environmental protection modeundering the rapid economic growth and the urbanization process of China. It has becomethe inevitable requirement of China’s development.Campus construction is a significant part of overall development and construction.With the rapid expansion of the quantity and scale, it has gradually drawn architect’sattention to green and sustainable campus construction. In2013April, the first evaluationstandard of green campus in China:"national green campus evaluation standard" hasredefined the green campus. And it puts forward some criteria to guide and evaluatecampus construction work, in order to promote the sustainable development of ourcampus. Based on the standard, this paper according to the two aspects, planning strategyfor campus construction and architectural design, give a referential design strategy, inorder to make a green campus be realized and develop better.The paper consists of six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction to clarify thebackground and purpose of green campus design strategy. It sumarize the greencampus research situation at home and abroad and put forward the research method andframe work. The second chapter explains the green campus related concepts and analysisthe evaluation about the green campus standard system at home and abroad. This chapteralso summarizes situation at home and abroad of the construction of campus based on thespecific case analysis. The third chapter has discussed on design strategy of green campus based on existing standards, from site selection and land use, spatial layout and partition,green traffic organization, energy and water resource conservation and other aspects. Thefourth chapter puts forward the strategy of architecture design of green campus from theregional intensive, complex, green energy in three aspects. The fifth chapter has exploredthe green design strategy of complex functions campus building with regional climateoriented by studying the design of campus building.
