With the development of economy, more and more people choose to shop onlinebecause of the low price and convenient way. at the same time, electronic business affectedthe real one. However, electronic business can not replace the business entity, because thatnetwork shopping can only satisfy people’s demand for shopping, not the experience ofshopping.This paper takes the experiential consumption as the basis, from the history ofcommercial space development, to summary the problems of our country commercial spaceIn the current, such as the too large volume, the single form, lack of matural and so on. Tosolve these problems, this paper collects and summaries people’s consumer behavior andconsumer psychology though site investigation and questionnaire investigation. From theseways to summarize the needs and reason to increase people to go shopping.Commercial pedestrian public space plays a very improtent part to connect thebusiness space, and this paper mainly studies on the fourth generation of shopping center,lifestyle shopping center. From investigation to discess the development trend of lifestyleshopping center. With the study on community type, courtyard type, homogeneous type, toinduce the compound mode and problems of pedestrian public space. From the backgroundof development to consumer psychology, this text is divided into four parts, six chapters, toelaborate the development, theory and principles on the commercial pedestrian public spaceof lifestyle shopping center. At last the views of development trend are put forward.
