Bridges of steel box girder have been booming in cities in recent years, and become acity of beautiful scenery with the beautiful appearance and diver sification. Using acontinuous steel box girder bridge of urban expressway as an engineering background,paper studied the key technology of division of beam plate element and the constructioncamber with the design of steel box girder, and came to the conclusion of practical methodof Steel division and Construction camber. Which has important practical meaning andapplication value to the improvement of manufacturing and the progress of technology inmiddle and small span steel box girder. The main research contents and results aresummarized as follows:Detailed design of design drawing of steel box girder. Paper concluded twoconstruction methods in the engineering, and compared advantages and disadvantages ofevery methods, and analysed classification method of steel box girder and plate unit, andcame to the conclusion of the classification method and principles of steel box girder andplate unit, in order to prevent the crossed weld and T form weld and other phenomenon ofweld concentration, and make sure the structural safety of steel box girder.Analysis of influence factors of the construction camber. Paper mainly took intoaccount four factors to the camber of construction, which are system transformation,thesettlement of stents and bearing,welding deformation and the temperature, each factorswere analysed and calculated by using simplified model. paper used method ofsuperposing every kind of deflection value caused by all kinds of load in analyzingsystem transformation, In addition, every deflection value is calculated by building aMIDAS CIVIL model; The settlement values of stents and bearing were calculated byusing the stress results of models; the influence of weld contraction deformation on thering opening was simulated by using nonlinear finite element software called ABAQUS,which is simplified as volume shrinkage method to simulate weld, and considered theinfluence of code plate constraints; paper used ABAQUS to simulate the influence of temperature difference between day and night to steel box girder.construction camber calculation of105m steel box girder bridge. Studiedon construction pre-camber calculation method was verified. Two construction methodsof the optional105m single box-double room box girder bridge were calculated. theresults are different as the section in different ways, the final result was consistent with theactual situation of Engineering settlement, and confirmed the feasibility of calculationmethod of construction camber.
