Compared to the traditional fuel heating,transverse flux induction heating (TFIH) notonly has the advantages of faster heating rate, higher precision of heating,causing lesspollution, easier to realize the management of automation,but also has the advantages ofsmaller reactive power,needing lower frequency,be suitable for continuous strip heating,But the uneven distribution of temperature in the strip surface after it is heated by thetransverse flux induction heating device,affecting the technique’s popularization andapplication。In this paper,I derivate the theoretical formulations of magnetic field、eddy currentfield and temperature field in the strip that is heated by the transverse flux induction heatingdevice;Established the finite element mathematical model of the induction heating device。In this paper,I use the software of MagNet and ThermNet developed by Infolytica tosimulate and discussed how to establish the model、set the properties of the materials whichconsist of the model、 mesh the model and other steps in detail。 Simulating thetwo-dimensional of transverse flux induction heating device,including the whole modeland the1/2model,and comparing the result of the two simulation。Making clear that whatboundary condition we should adopt in the magnetic-thermal couple simulation of thepartial transverse flux induction heating device。Establish1/4three-dimension numerical model of transverse flux induction heatingdevice, set corresponding parameters of the model and analyse the model bymagnetic-thermal coupling simulation。By the means of controlling one variable,I comparethe results of distribution of temperature in the surface of the strip in different conditions,including different size of coils,different shapes of coils,different air gaps between thestrip and the silicon iron。Get a better structure of the induction device,which enable thestrip get better distribution of temperature after the strip heated by the transverse fluxinduction heating device。...
