In order to compare the economic indicators of excavation and non-excavation rehabilitation better, quantitative analysis for non-excavation work is a very important research topic. In this paper, put forward a set of trenchless technology environmental benefit evaluation index system based on the subject of Quantitative Economics, Environmental Evaluation Theory and Method and the Theory on Engineering Cost, and provides a theoretical basis for the economic analysis of trenchless technology in china.(1) Through the investigation of actual engineering and literature, introduced all kinds of trenchless rehabilitation technology briefly, discussed the characteristics of situ curing method and expounded the characteristics and construction effect of UV curing method on actual trenchless rehabilitation engineering in Guangzhou.(2) The direct costs of the drainage pipeline repair include:civil engineering cost, pipeline repair costs, late surface recovery cost and other cost. Usually only direct costs of repair is considered. But actually pipeline repair should also include the cost of social cost, environmental cost and other costs associated with the pipeline repair. Social costs include lost traffic delays, loss of business cost. Environmental cost refers to the loss caused by environmental pollution, including dust pollution, noise pollution and so on.(3) Analyzed and evaluated the repair cost of Guangzhou city drainage pipeline from the economic perspective. Statistically analyzed the direct cost of rehabilitation of the six section of the pipeline in Guangzhou for recent years and quantified its social cost and environmental cost, accordingly, compared and analyzed the composite cost of drainage pipeline repair project and drew a conclusion that trenchless repair is better than excavation repair with respect to composite cost.(4) Combine the cost effectiveness analysis of six drainage pipeline repair project, the Environment Value Theory and Environmental Impact Factors, conducted qualitative and quantitative analysis to the environmental benefit of non-excavation construction and established a set of environmental benefit evaluation index system to evaluate them to clear the advantages of non-excavation construction in the aspect of cost.This research will provide theoretical basis and technical support for construction and management of scientific implementation of Guangzhou and other cities of the drainage pipeline trenchless repair, and the research method can be extended to the whole underground pipeline infrastructure construction fields of the city. The research of this topic will promote the application of trenchless rehabilitation technology on drainage pipeline repair project and offer a reference value for making construction guides of trenchless rehabilitation technology on drainage pipeline repair project.
