sEMG (surface electromyography) is a technique in which electrodes are placed on the surface skin to detect and record the active muscle bio-electricity signals which are the collection of the Motor Unit Action Potential Train. The quantitative analysis of sEMG and Biofeedback stimulation therapy are widely applied in the field of clinical diagnosis, rehabilitation, human movement science, human ergonomics and injury evaluation, etc.The thesis elaborated the sEMG acquisition and biofeedback software system and the relevant research. Its three aspects are as follows:First of all, embedded software achieved the function of signals acquisition, stimulation output, communication and security monitoring, which was based on the hardware platform of TMS320F2809 and state machine model.Secondly, PC software realized the functions of patient information management, sEMG acquisition, biofeedback on the Visual Studio 2010 with C#, as well as the sEMG signal processing and analysis through digital signal processing technology.At last, it completed the clinic trials about the consistency of assessment and the effectiveness of treatment on the software system toward stroke patients.The clinic trials results indicate that:the system’s measure indexes had good consistency compared with similar international product in the assessment. In terms of treatment, it had a significant improvement on indexes that reflecting the strength and the fatigue resistance of muscles (AEMG, MPF) compared with the control group.The sEMG acquisition and biofeedback software system was described in the thesis. It provides a integrated service of "acquisition-assessment-therapy" through the technology of software engineering and digital signal processing with the function of assessment and biofeedback, which has a bright future in application.
