Commercial pedestrian street is a product of urban development, and a carrier of hosting economic and cultural development, integrating with our lives after years of development. As a city card, commercial pedestrian street has changed its character from emphasizing the streets into one of the important places of business activities combining the landscape and the leisure. However, as people focus on landscape design of commercial pedestrian street excessively and take a quick discharge mode to avoid affecting the overall landscape of the street, they neglect the importance of rainwater resources during the process. This paper proposes the introduction of commercial pedestrian street in the rain garden green design strategies to provide an ecological and aesthetics way for stormwater management urban of commercial pedestrian street. In this study, we analyzed the necessity of introducing the rain gardens into commercial pedestrian street greenbelt, which is as a research subject. Against current situation of rainwater resource utilization of urban commercial pedestrian street greenbelt, we proposed that commercial pedestrian street rainwater utilization needs hydrological analysis at the site of the foundation the combination of urban stormwater management system, and rainwater utilization measures should take into the design of greenbelt in commercial pedestrian street. In this paper, studies mainly expressed in four aspects:Firstly, the theory of rain gardens was studied, we pointed out rain gardens was important to the urban landscape of rainwater utilization, summed up the rain garden landscape composition and landscape features, combined with outstanding foreign cases of rain gardens in different spatial form of the site design patterns. Secondly, we conducted researched on the greenbelt design of commercial pedestrian street, analyzed the commercial pedestrian street greenbelt composition, characteristics, and summarized rainwater utilization of commercial pedestrian street facilities landscape pathway and the rainwater utilization status green landscape of commercial pedestrian street issue based on field investigation. Thirdly, the introduction of the rain garden concept in commercial pedestrian street greenbelt design strategies was elaborated, and we proposed design ideas and design approach of greenbelt from the planning and design level, respectively. Sorted out the green design process, elaborated that green design steps need to follow the "status quo analysis venue-the Scale-Details design " process. Summarized the basic principles and idea of green design, and that green design needed to be made from the corresponding planning level analysis and design levels. Discussed the design approach to introduce the rain garden concept into commercial pedestrian street, and the greenbelt location, spatial form, drainage patterns, edge construction, water features to create and plant selection in detail. Finally, renovation design of greenbelt in nine temples commercial pedestrian street in the Dadukou District, Chongqing demonstrated the feasibility of earlier research design strategies, and then the policy is to enrich and deepen through the practice case. This paper mainly discussed the design strategy based on the concept of rain gardens green in commercial pedestrian street, including the following aspects:firstly,This paper, which was based on the rain garden concept commercial pedestrian street green design content and dig out the commercial pedestrian street greenbelt and rainwater utilization combined significance of urban stormwater systems, aimed at providing a new way of thinking for rainwater use patterns of urban commercial pedestrian street to raise awareness of rainwater resources utilization in modern urban commercial pedestrian street, and alleviating the problem of urban rainwater.
