| With the social development, standard of living has been getting sustaining improvement. After the existence need has been fulfilled, people intend to pay more attention to a higher level perceptual demand such as psychological satisfaction and spiritual consolation. Since the current functionalization-based production cannot meet customer need any longer, the design concept based on customer demand come to predominate a new trend. Against this background, the Kansei engineering emerges as the times require and applies in several field with great success today. However, so far it is rarely used in design of medical apparatus and instruments at home, which makes the design level unsatisfactory in our country. Therefore, it is of momentous current significance to bring Kansei engineering into this field.The presented thesis does a systemic research on the optimization design of domestic breathing machine by bringing in Kansei engineering. First, the customer is classified by their demand to understand the characteristics of customer which should be considered in the design of domestic breathing machine. Then, qualitative and quantitative analysis are applied for ascertaining the sample and perceptual imagery, followed by the design factors. After building the corresponding relation between the perceptual imagery and the design factors, the proposals to the design factors under different perceptual imagery are provided. Last, three kind of schemes are offered to design the domestic breathing machine for old folks along with corresponding evaluation. Results show that the matching relationship, between imagery and modeling feature, helps to guide optimization design of domestic breathing machine to convey the expected imagery.The work of this thesis indicates that it is necessary and feasible to bring Kansei engineering into the field of domestic breathing machine design. The method used here in this study provides a constructive train of thought for designing other similar production. Furthermore, it also can provide some innovative idea for the development of future enterprise product. |
