With the development of aging society,the extreme lack of products for the elderly can not meet the needs of the user.The existing market for the elderly products is extremely confusing,there is no uniform standard for the identification,recognition and evaluation of the elderly products.The main reason is that relevant government departments and industry has not yet developed a special industry standards for elderly products.At the same time,there is no systematic research theory in the field of design,which leads to the lack of standards and norms for the design of the elderly.This paper systematically analyzes the awareness of the elderly products of the users who with different ages,genders,occupations,and different degrees of culture,the analysis of the results provides a basis for the research direction and significance of this paper.In this paper,the research method of kansei engineering is used to measure the color of the appearance of the household product by the elderly users.By correlation analysis,principal component factor analysis,cluster analysis to analyze the color image evaluation results,the elderly with product samples coexist appearance color and semantic properties of images,mainly intended to obtain perceptual user preferences and elderly product design elements are high correlation degree.According to the three elements of color and color characteristics of the measure,choose the HSV color model as a standard to measure characteristics,numerical sampling was carried out on the color appearance of the product.Combined with the semantic differential method tests of perceptual intention of elderly high degree of user preferences and color characteristics of quantitative values,that is well received by users of the product appearance color attributes: hue Angle difference,difference and lightness difference spectrum purity,further the emotional semantic expression of intention numerical value,set up the user perceptual intention and product appearance of quantitative relationship between color features.According to the numerical meaning difference of Kansei engineering test and color characteristics of quantitative results to guide the design innovation,obtained several preliminary design scheme.Using the algorithm of fuzzy mathematics to evaluate the design schemes to get the design scheme of high relative membership degree recognised by the user,it verifies the correctness and feasibility of the research results effectively.The research conclusion provides an effective theoretical basis and practical methods for the designers to the understanding of elderly users' physical and psychological needs,the evaluation of design scheme,the identification of external color design of products and the application guidance.
