In recent 20 years, the speed of the construction of highway tunnel in China is rapid.Because of complex geological conditions, design, construction, maintenance repair and many other reasons, a lot of tunnel disease problems gradually appear. In order to prolong the normal service life of the tunnel, maintenance workers should be timely inspection of the tunnel disease, then repairing and reinforcing the tunnel.The existing highway tunnel is divided into frequent, regular, emergency and special inspection, frequent and regular inspection are the main routine inspection. A large number of the tunnel in our country, the conventional inspection task is arduous, but the existing tunnel inspection is existed the problem which is low efficiency. This paper is studying the tunnel inspection through the tunnel on the inspection technology at home and abroad, learning from the rapid inspection method of bridge of Taiwan DERU ideas and experience, and carring on the thorough analysis and Research on the principle of DERU, combining with AHP and multiplication scale method, rapid inspection of periodic inspection In order to explore suitable for China’s highway tunnel operation period.This paper is based on the rapid inspection technology of bridge of Taiwan DERU method, combining with existing inspection experience of highway tunnel site, analyzing DERU the rationality of the method of quantitative evaluation index and calculation method, eventually developing a set of methods which are suitable for the quantitative evaluation index and calculation method for highway tunnel in China. This paper selects the tunnel structure as the criterion layer, establishing the establishment of the 5 evaluation criteria of the index layer index of D, E, S, completing the classification evaluation of the whole tunnel, framing, partition and the subcomponents. In addition, selecting tunnel reduced length as the tunnel maintenance optimization index, more objectively reflecting the different tunnel maintenance maintenance degree of urgency. Through the research work in this paper, the existing highway tunnel is achieved quantitative evaluation, promoting the level of inspection technology of highway tunnel in China’s development and progress, improving the efficiency of inspection, at the same time, facilitating the establishment of information management and maintenance period of highway tunnel.
