| As the early stage of product development cycle, the conceptual design can reflect innovative products efficiently. The essence of innovation is to provide designers with the ideal product design. This paper established a process model of product innovation by integrating TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) with bionic technology, which effectively drives the product concept innovation design. The model consisted of three aspects, which were conflict problem solving, innovative concepts producing and the synthesis and evaluation of principle solutions. The main contents are as follows:(1) Two general processes to resolve the conflict problem by TRIZ or by coupling bionic technology were explored. Combined with the TRIZ tools of soving conflict problem and related knowledge of coupling bionic technology, a process model of resolving conflict problem was build. In this process, the conflict problem sovling was visualization by Matlab software, using TRIZ innovation principles based on biological functions. The model can effectively improve the efficiency of product innovation.(2) The mechanism on producing innovative solutions of products based on the evolution of biological functions and technical evolution was presented. Through the elaboration of biological functional model, the method to build biological functional model of products is proposed. By analyzing the internal relations of functional evolution and technical evolution, a correlation matrix about them was established. Three patent characteristic curves were fitted by computer to complete the forecast on the technical maturity of products.(3) The principle of ant colony algorithm was analyzed. In the way of synthesis and evaluation based on ant colony algorithm, the combinatorial optimization for morphological matrix of products was achieved by Matlab. Ultimately, the ideal product principle solution was obtained.(4) The module of conflict problem solving was used in the engineering design of axial fan blades. Firstly, the conflicts about the axial fan system were defined, and the bionic template for solving the conflicts was achieved by the compiled query software. Then the bionic elements of axial fan blades were extracted through biological coupling elements analysis, and accordingly the structural bionic couping model of the blades was established. Finally, the traffic and noise simulation of the prototype blades model and bionic coupled model were analyzed by Fluent software. The results show that the mass flow rate of the new bionic blades improved obviously, the system noise level of that has also been significantly reduced.(5) With the above research results, UV fume purification machine has been improved in terms of hoods, fume pipes, fans and so on. In the end, the overall structural model of a new UV fume purification machine is constructed. It verifies applicability and efficiency about the proposed mechanim on producing innovative solutions of products and the methods of synthesis and evaluation.The research will provide reference to expand applications of product innovation design method. |
