The concrete amount of relatively large RCC dam are generally more than one million square, so its construction period is very long. During construction organization design, it is difficult to fully take into account the construction of various factors, getting the right construction organization. In addition, the RCC dam construction placing area is large, and the concrete pouring work of each compacted layer is continuously conducted, therefore all aspects of the work need to achieve a high degree of coordination, if the machinery configuration of whole construction system is unreasonable, it will be a "bottle-neck", which reduce the concrete construction speed. So, the roller compacted concrete dam construction of computer simulation, select the appropriate construction machinery configuration, is to ensure timely completion of the construction project cost and lower key. In this paper, in order to optimize roller compacted concrete dam construction machinery and equipment configurations, select a reasonable construction organization plan, including the establishment of mixing, transportation and Placing Area pouring simulation models, simulation study of the construction process.On the basis of RCC dam construction on the systematic analysis, can be divided into mixing transport systems and dam operating system, based on discrete event system simulation principle, the use of computer simulation software to establish a model roller compacted concrete dam construction.
