In a very long past period, the environment has been destroyed by the expansionary development of social economy, and the sustainable development theory has been widely accepted. As the development trend of architecture, the "green building" has been also popularized around the world since it was been proposed. One of the key factors is the special project management mode. The traditional mode is focused primarily on the management of the production process. Due to the require of environment, resources, culture and other factors, the mode of "green building" no longer just points to production phase of the project, but correlates with all the critical phases of the project full life cycle, such as decision-making phase, implementation phase, design phase, construction phase, operation and maintenance phase, and post-evaluation phase, which are the linchpins of the achievement of the whole benefits. The whole performance of architecture project should be affected by the difference between "green building" project management mode and the traditional project management mode. The full life cycle management mode of "green building" is researched by this dissertation. By comparing the traditional project management theory with "green building" project management theory, the difference between the two management modes is analyzed, and the systemic project management mode for all stages of "green building" full life cycle is proposed. There are two main aspects of the difference between the two modes. First of all, the purposes of project management are different. The main production mode of the traditional architecture project is resources consuming. It goes in for economization, and almost all the sewage operations of the production process are depending on public facilities. Due to its oriented economic benefits motive, the short period economic benefits are more emphasized. However, the goal of "green building" project is aiming to optimizing the living environment, and saving resources. It emphasizes the project’s self-cleaning cycle function, so the general value can be improved, and the performance of economic activity can be better. Then, the means of project management are different. The traditional project management mode prefers production process which usually be broken down into schedule management, quality management, and cost management. However, "green building" purposes to change the linear increase of economy depending on resources consuming to the solid growth of economy depending on resources recycling in the processes of resources investment, business productivity optimization, products consumption and abandonment. There are seven parts in this dissertation. First of all, the stand of this study is introduced to determine the significance, contents, and ideas of the research in chapter one. The second chapter is an introduction to the main content of green building theory full life-cycle management, and green building project management model with traditional project management model for the purpose of comparison from the administration and management tools to both analyze the difference between the two contact. Chapter III, Chapter IV, Chapters V and VI is through the analysis of the various stages of the life cycle of green building is proposed applicable to new green building project management. The last part of the article is the conclusion of the paper was discussed in summary, is the realization of green building projects lean and efficient management effectiveness, not only to pay attention to all aspects of information management, will be the master of participants in various implementation stages to ensure that green building project objectives implementation. There are still many deficiencies in this dissertation, so the research will be continued to make the subject more complete in the future.
