In recent years, with the development of society and economy, quality accident is an outstanding problem in engineering construction. Many large domestic engineering structures take security risks in different degree. The building structure always uses total stations and other more conventional measuring instruments to monitor settlement and deformation. It is difficult to reflect the health of the structure timely and accurately. Therefore, establishing a set of system for real-time monitoring of deformation and safety warning can play a very important role in people’s life security and national economic development.In this study, as the representative of factory building, we establish a set of system for real-time monitoring of deformation and safety warning. The system is formed of sensing layer, transport layer and application layer. Sensing layer is composed of static force level and biaxial inclinometer, and according to a preset frequency, it can measure every unit’s tilt angle and settlement. Transport layer: a signal bus connects each monitoring units in series to transmit monitoring data via RS-485 serial communication efficiently. Application layer: firstly, system collects data to establish a database for processing statistics, then, excludes the gross errors to improve data accuracy and calculate of real-time deformation of roof frame; finally, we establish classification warning according to the analysis of data. The system can be used in dynamic real-time factory structure safety monitoring, also applied to other similar structure.
