With the continuously increase of subway lines and the constantly refinement of public transportation pricing policy, operation and management in Beijing, more and more citizens’ travel preferences are apt to public transport. In order to improve the public transportation service, passengers’ riding comfort importance is also worth emphasizing considering sustainable development of public transportation, in addition to guarantee operation speed, operation scheduling and transport capacity. Vibration, noise, air quality, temperature and congestion involved in the public transportation environment are the main influence factors to passenger’s mood and physical health. This research mainly focuses on passengers’ riding vibration comfort of Beijing public transportation and three-axis vibration signal of seats and ECG, EOG, EMG signals are synchronously collected. Analyzing data by statistical methods and SPSS software and the results are shown as the following: 1) Mutation of vibration acceleration can result in instantaneous change of human ECG, especially when the difference between sample standard deviation and the overall standard deviation of vibration acceleration within 1s is more than 0.050m/s2 and the greater the difference is, the greater the ECG is. The effect disappears instantly accompanying with adaptivity of human body; 2) when the riding vibration acceleration is relatively greater, Electrooculogram voltage are obviously bigger than those of steady state; 3) Electromyogram data can be used to quantitatively describe public transport riding vibration comfort, the threshold of vibration acceleration based on the fatigue of sacrospinalis muscle is determined as 1.071m/s2 by data fitting and date derivation; 4) According to the thresholds, the current riding comfort vibration evaluation is slightly adjusted. The riding vibration comfort of several representative public transports in Beijing are compared and the order from superior to inferior is: taxi > express > bus > metro. In this study, human physiology and psychology indicators are used to evaluate riding vibration comfort of public transportation. The research method is more objective, scientific than the subjective method and it can offer a beneficial complementary to the present research and evaluation.
