Coal-fired industrial boilers consume one-third of the total consumption of coal per year, it’s highly energy intensive areas. China’s industrial boiler have issues of harsh conditions, Difficult to establish an accurate model, low thermal efficiency, low automation level, energy consumption serious. In recent years, industrial boilers computer control technology is widely used, the application of intelligent control algorithms can optimize boiler combustion, reduce energy consumption. In this paper, a Qingdao power plant boiler reconstruction project for the study, to address the issue of "harsh working conditions, the model complexity, simple control, evaluation lag", design a system of boiler optimal loop control and energy efficiency analysis under harsh conditions. The system can meet the requirements of manufacturers made, do not stop the boiler operation, ensure drum water level stable, the economic security and stability of the combustion boiler, energy efficiency analysis, reporting and one key reset function.Firstly, design optimal control and energy efficiency analysis interface on another monitoring host through Force-control configuration software, it can show the boiler operating parameters. And we design other features to ensure the safe and stable of the boiler operation, such as permissions switch between master-slave monitoring system; the heartbeat signal; data limit alarm; a button for resting.Secondly, configure the OPC interface, connect Force Control and DCS. Force Control provide OPC CLIENT, configuring it to connect the OPC SERVER providing by SUPCON JX-300XP DCS. And get the fuzzy control rules by analyzing the data from DCS,Mastering boiler principle.And then, we design optimal loop control module and develop energy analysis module using C#.Energy analysis module analyze boiler efficiency by using positive balance energy analysis algorithm and anti-balancing energy analysis algorithm, at the same time, sending the result to optimal loop control module. Optimal loop control module complete optimal control algorithms of anthropomorphic control, fuzzy PID control, optimization control.Finally, we have finished a software named optimal control and energy analysis, it contains a wealth of features, such as show real time parameters, alarm overrun data, query SQL, manage users and analyze combustion efficiency.System of industrial boiler optimal control and energy efficiency analysis can not only take advantage of fuzzy control system to solve problems of long time lag boiler,and large inertia, also can analyze the results then optimize combustion process.After case study, the system we designed which can optimize boiler’s combustion combining with energy efficiency analysis is good to fit harsh conditions, and, it can improve boiler combustion efficiency.
